Ava’s Cookie Factory was founded by a dad who simply wanted to spend more time with his daughter and bond over their undeniable sweet tooth. Dad and daughter started baking cookies for family and friends and got such good responses that they decided to take them to market. Selling cookies at local farmers markets, outdoor events, and birthday and graduation parties.   

Ava and her dad really wanted to grow this business, and more than anything create more PURPOSE with the business. Ava’s dad being a teacher wanted to infuse an element of service and education to the business, and what better way to do that than by creating a platform for people to create financial resources and learn key elements of marketing and entrepreneurship all through gourmet cookie products with the recipes that they created. Ava’s Cookie Factory developed a step-by-step process on how to effectively sell the cookies and create an online store for the participants as they fundraise.
